DHC Cosmetics
DHC is a billion-dollar Japanese cosmetics company with a very tiny US presence which it was working to expand. They have a very strong design and a loyal following. Much of my job was working with very qualified designers to get the size of the images into the confines of email development. A 10 mb animated image may be beautiful, but the limitations for email means it will never load. In addition, they don’t work with Outlook. So some creative solutions had to be implemented to convey an idea.
Tools used include Responsys, Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Email on Acid and Litmus. Click on the images to see animation.
